The excellent RSS Feed feature might benefit from two upgrades if code allows:

allowing the user to configure the feeds they want to monitor (it would be useful for me to have it include my own feed and some non-radio feeds.)

indicating the new RSS articles found by Highlighting them in the list.

An excellent add-in toolbar and thank you for sharing your fine work!

Thanks Steve

I'll think about this a bit.

The second suggestion is mostly done - at least it works that way for me in Firefox... If there is a new post in a feed, the feed is highlighted (the icon is different) and when you hover your mouse over the feed menu it should open and show you (with an email icon) whether you've already viewed the articles or not. Is that work that way for you as well?

Hi Pat

On the Highlighting I had in mind something more like the difference between:

K9JY Ham Radio [ 0 New ]

and

K9JY Ham Radio [ 2 New ]

To indicate a Blog or RSS feed that has new material.

Might be my personal desire because I peek at the RSS feeds when taking "mind breaks" from my work at hand.

I see. Thanks for the suggestion Steve. I'll have to think about how best to do this (or if it can be done) with my toolbar builder.

Hi Pat, my name and call is Dave W8RIT. I'd like to share my opinion with you as well. I agree with Steve's suggestion of being able to add or delete RSS feeds. I had come to the forum looking for help on adding RSS feeds and lo and behold the first topic I see listed is Steve's. I'd like to add feeds from my state and district's ARPSC/RACES websites as well as Glenn Hauser's World of Radio. I'd also like to thank you for the very handy IE toolbar add-on.
