I've been working on this. A new version (0.74.0) has been submitted to the Mozilla reviewers. Once approved, I hope that it will fix the problems you are having.

Apparently, the new version of Propfire has caused issues with Firefox 2.X installations. Until this is resolved, you might want to either:
Upgrade to Firefox 3.X
Revert to Propfire version 0.73.12 ...
