Is eBay really #1 for ham radio gear?
Thanks to those who participated in my online poll regarding where you go to shop for ham radio gear. I was surprised to see that of the 70+ votes submitted so far, 41% use eBay. I certainly knew that eBay was popular with hams and I’ve used it myself for a few years now… but 41%?
OK, sure – it’s not exactly a scientific poll. And, yes, ebay employees may have rigged the results.
I know some guys who swear by eBay for ham radio stuff. I know other who steer clear – only shopping at ham fests and don’t do online transactions.
What do you think?
Do you think that 40% of ham radio ops really shop at eBay or is the poll way off base?
