Ham Radio – A contact sport

I ordered the Cushcraft XM240 in June from R & L Electronics in Ohio. I’d let them know that I was working on a tower project and I needed this as soon as they could get it to me. Finally, the boxes for the XM240 have arrived! That was quite a long time to wait for an antenna and there was no communications from R&L to let me know that the antenna was delayed. In a way, it’s a good thing that I was delayed on the actual tower construction – otherwise, I would have been even more frustrated with R&L for delaying the shipment (for which they blame Cushcraft).
