Ham Radio - A contact sport

I’ve picked up a few accessories for my new toy - the Cingular 8125 PDA Phone (Cingular) (aka HTC Windows Mobile PDA-Phone thingy):

1. Plantronics Discovery 640 Bluetooth Cell Phone Headset
   The headset was a necessity as using this thing as a phone is a bit awkward - especially when driving. The unit comes with a earplug headset, but I thought it was time to take the Bluetooth leap. So far, I’m ok with the functionality and ease of use of this headset, but am not impressed with the sound quality.
2. SanDisk 1GB miniSD Card (SDSDM-1024-A10M, Retail Package)
   Gotta have a place to store all those email attachments, programs, pics, songs, etc. I just wish I didn’t have to get a new card. MiniSD is a bit of a pain as it seems to be common in phones and not much else.
3. PocketSolutions leather bookcase for Cingular 8100
   The default case that came with the 8100 made me nervous. I’ve knocked my iPAQ off of my belt and actually broke the support clip (laptop bag smacked into in at DFW). I wanted something that might potentially save the screen should I accidentally drop it.
4. Cingular 8100 ClearTouch Crystal Screen Protector
   Gotta have these. I’ve never used a PDA without them.

I feel a little more ready for battle with these things.
