ANwireless tower arrives
The ANwireless HD-70, 22′ mast and Prosistel PST-61 rotator arrived today. XYL has declared today “Tower Day”. Dan made it from PA ahead of schedule and (thankfully) Bill, KØKT, was available to help off-load the tower. Had the job done in about an hour and a half.
There were plenty of spectators… XYL (Lynne), father in law (Duane), harmonic (Sarah), and several curious neighbor-ladies.
After unloading the tower, Dan and I went over to Bill’s to admire his antenna farm. The three of us then went to Hickory Park for some lunch.
Here’s where I began to wonder if an aluminum tower might not have been better (at least for my back)….
Whew. At least that much is done. Now I just need a few more things… Backhoe. Rebar. Concrete. Crane…
