WD4RBX has a site devoted to PropNET studies. PropNet uses a network of PSK31 stations on HF and 6 meters (uploading data to the internet) to study propagation. It extends the concept of ham radio HF beacons beyond answering the question as to if the bands are open and deeper into radio propagation causes, effects and trends through data analysis.
