I have had this radio mounted in my Ford Expedition in Florida for over a year. I don't have to tell you about the heat and humidity! Small, compact and 50 watts with a front firing speaker...the whole body is an effective heat sink!
I could not rate is as "perfect" due to the power settings locked at 25 and 50 watts, a 5 watt setting for city repeater works is badly needed..
