Our local amateur radio club has used the N3FJP Field Day contest logbook for a couple years now. We have not had too many issues with setup and installation. However, I felt as though the reporting system lacked a few features. For example, the map (showing sections worked) never seemed to accurately reflect the sections we had actually worked. The user interface could have been a bit easier for newbies, and the reports commonly seen in contesting packages (N1MM, Writelog) were not quite as good as I would expect from commercial software.
That is not to say that it didn't "get the job done". Not perfect, not terrible... just ok for what it is.
