The Diamond K400 series trunk lip antenna mount is a universal heavy duty trunk/hatchback mount. Two-axis adjustment allows the mount to be used on a trunk lid, hatchback, or vertical door. Availabe in SO-239 (UHF Female), NMO, and 3/8-24 thread configurations. All have 6.5 feet of RG316 mini Teflon coax preinstalled, with removeable PL259 connector.

I've tried using this mount with the Diamond HV7A and a High Sierra Sidekick (a very small screwdriver type antenna). Although some will recommend the Diamond K400 series mounts, I will not. Many dealers claim that the K400-series is sturdy enough to hold small screwdriver antennas such as the Yaesu ATAS 100 and the Sidekick. I found that even with the 2 axis screws tightened completely, antennas became loose to the point that it could no longer be tightened.
The problem is that it tries to do a bit too much - too many axes of orientation, too many antenna sizes, too much complexity, for a price that is a bit too much. My recommendation is to get a sturdier mount or better yet get a mount that tries to do one thing well - support your particular antenna in your particular installation.
