Summary: Solid tower, great value
September 25th, 2007
This past weekend I installed the ANwireless HD-70 heavy duty self-supporting tower. This will be my first ham radio tower installation and I am very pleased with the ANWireless purchase. Dan at ANwireless was absolutely a great guy to work with. He provided me with all the support necessary to order just what I wanted, he delivered the tower on-time and in person (all the way from Pennsylvania to Iowa).

I chose to have the tower delivered in 10 ft. sections (which I would recommend). The tower sections bolt together with splice plates using heavy duty bolts... 4 bolts hold two plates to a leg joint on two sides. In other words, each section of tower is bolted to the section below it with 12 splice plates using 24 bolts.

Accessories I ordered (from Jay and ArraySolutions) included rotor plate, intermediate plate, and top plate (all good for the top sections), thrust bearing, 2" mast and step bolts.

The equipment is rock solid and Dan (and Jay) know the business and make sure you are satisfied.
